Each year, Gramercy Neighborhood Associates hosts an Art Exhibit at the prestigious National Arts Club on Gramercy Park, giving local artists the opportunity to apply to have their artwork displayed. Gallery viewing days are March 15 – 26, 2016. All are welcome!
We are teaming up with City Harvest again in 2015 to help feed NYC families in poverty! Nearly 20% of New Yorkers currently live in poverty, struggling to afford basic necessities such as rent and medical care and put food on their tables.
Sponsored by Henry Street Settlement and funded through the Corporation for National and Community Service, the Senior Companion Program is available in all of New York City’s five boroughs. Volunteer today!
For the third year in a row, GNA will be hosting its now famous Taste of Gramercy Neighborhood on Irving Place. Gramercy Table was started to promote local businesses and introduce residents of NYC to the wonderful array of food that Gramercy has to offer. As in previous years, net proceeds from this event will go to benefit healthy meal programs at local public schools, including PS 40 and School of the Future. In addition, all leftover food will go to feed the homeless via the Bowery Mission.
Volunteers Needed and Welcome! GNA is co-sponsoring the annual clean & green of this 2nd avenue playground. May 16th 10am-2pm, Rain or shine! Please join us for a fabulous day of giving some well needed love to one of our favorite Gramercy playgrounds. Supplies will be provided – just bring your elbow grease!
Each year, GNA participates in career day at SOF. Many of our members, who have or have had careers in a variety of industries around the globe, provide students with career advice and share their own working experiences.
The Stand, voted New York Magazine’s “Best Comedy Club in NYC”, is teaming up with GNA to throw a cocktail and comedy party for which a portion of proceeds will go to benefit GNA and the Gramercy community.

The Daily News and City Harvest Food Drive, co-sponsored by several organizations including the NYPD and FDNY, seek donations of any non-perishable foods found in supermarkets, such as soup, canned fruits, canned vegetables, and grains. GNA is participating in the program this year, which starts now and ends January 16, 2015.
